As a continuation to our Family Ties post last year, here’s another couple we photographed who had family ties with previous couples we’d spent some time with. Jinny and Mike were married last summer at the beautiful Westwood Plateau & Country Club. We had just photographed Jinny’s sister’s wedding (Janice & David) the previous summer, and we’ll soon be photographing David’s brother’s wedding this coming July. Needless to say, it has been a busy couple of years for this family!
I hope everyone had a wonderful and restful holiday! We are now entering a new decade and I wish that the next ten years and beyond will bring much joy and peace to you and those around you. Happy 2010!
I’m proud to finally introduce our new video clip! This is a behind the scenes video that enables viewers like yourselves to watch us in action and get a feel for our style when we photograph a wedding. It’s a project that we’ve been working on for quite some time and our hard work has finally paid off! A special shout out and big thank you to Eric Gan of Vivid Motion Wedding Films for filming and producing the video for us and Esther Celebrini for supplying the great music for the video.

Over the years we’ve worked with many families who have graciously invited us to share in the wedding celebrations of their children. This past summer, we had two back to back weddings where we reunited with two special families who we’ve worked with in past years.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Halloween Charity Photo Booth held downstairs from our studio in Fine Finds. All the kids were wearing such adorable costumes yesterday and we had the privilege of taking photos of these cute munchkins!! In under 2 hours, we raised over $200 worth of cash donations to the Great Vancouver Food Bank and received over a case load of non-perishable food items. Thanks again for all your support!

Our Halloween Charity Photo Booth location has now been confirmed. We’ll be setting up our pumpkin patch photo booth location at Fine Finds Boutique, just directly below our studio! Details below.
Come join us! Bring your trick or treaters out and receive a complimentary 4×6 photo in exchange for a canned food or cash donation to the food bank. All proceeds will go towards the Greater Vancouver Foodbank. Hope to see you all there!
We’re about quarter of the way through the Wedding Photography course and so far, I am having a complete blast! The students are all so enthusiastic making it so enjoyable for me to teach them. I wanted to give special thanks to all the couples who have taken out time to model for the course. Most of these couples were once my clients and its been so wonderful reconnecting with them. These sessions are our most popular portrait sessions for families and this year, we’ve decided to set aside two dates for you to choose from (see below for details). Last year’s fall colors were fabulous so we’ll be taking you outside for a 45 minute portrait session amidst a backdrop of Vancouver’s autumn colors. This summer we had an opportunity to travel to the lovely island of Galiano for Susan and Harvey’s wedding. This couple is definitely one of a kind and I connected with them instantly when they came in for their initial meeting.
